Most of the ornamental fish food originally comes from commercial fish farming, where the price and the "weight" of the fish are what counts. These types of food are then often slightly modified and used as food for ornamental fish. The difference, however, is that our discus fish, for example, can live up to 15 years, whereas commercial fish are mostly slaughtered after about 2 years. In this short time, many problems that cheap feed can cause do not even arise. With our discus, however, this becomes apparent quickly, very clearly.
With all the ingredients in our ORIGINAL STENDKER granules, we paid attention to the highest quality and not to the price. This approach makes the big difference to other common types of ornamental fish food. For example, we have attached great importance to the fact that our ORIGINAL STENDKER GRANULATE is ideal for rearing smaller discus fish and also for feeding breeding animals.
We have not used any extenders in our feed. Our feed is to be understood as a kind of "concentrate". Small amounts are enough, it is very productive and therefore relatively cheap and economical to use.
Among other things, we add pediococcus acidilactici to our feed, which is a strain of bacteria that has been proven to be beneficial for the digestion of fish. The probiotic effect promotes digestion and the animals can process the high-quality ingredients even better.
What is special is not only what is in our food, but also that our food is coated with a mineral mix, which quickly dissolves in the water when feeding and provides additional minerals on the way through the water and quickly sinks to the bottom . As a result, all vital minerals are available to the animals, even after feeding, because fish exchange ions and thus minerals with the water surrounding them through diffusion.
With all our types of feed, the focus is on well-being, maintaining health, good growth and color brilliance.
Our ORIGINAL STENDKER GRANULATE is available from specialist retailers in 480 g and small 140 g cans, with small serving spoons.
