Founded in 1965, the Stendker discus farm was brought to life by Heinz and Helga Stendker with unwavering passion and dedication to aquaristics and, in particular, to breeding discus fish. Together with their sons J\u00f6rg and Volker, their expertise and their pursuit of the highest quality quickly made them one of the leading fish farms for discus fish in Germany and around the world.<\/p>\n

An important focus of discus breeding at STENDKER has always been the diet of the discus fish, which has a decisive influence on their health and colourfulness. In order to ensure that their fish are optimally cared for, the Stendker family developed their own high-quality discus food Good Heart and later also granules.<\/p>\n

Carefully selected ingredients, essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals have been the key to a product of outstanding quality that is appreciated by aquarium enthusiasts worldwide.<\/p>\n

Although the breeding activity of the STENDKER discus breeder has been discontinued, its influence in the aquaristics branch remains noticeable. The legacy of the discus fish is continued by many smaller breeders, but the food is still produced and sold by the STENDKER family, so that the fish do not have to go without their food in the future.<\/p>\n
